Born and raised in Maryland, I “headed west” to Oregon after serving in the USAF in the late 70’s as an operating room technician where I developed an affinity with orthopedic surgery.
Douglas County was my home for 27 years as an OR tech then RN prior to obtaining my PA education at the University of North Dakota. I spent 3 years in remote Eastern Montana prior to heeding the call back to Oregon to work at Paragon Orthopedics in December 2010.
My “batteries get recharged” when I’m on the river, hiking in the hills and forests and enjoying my latest passion- hangliding.
I look forward to meeting you and offering solutions to the problems you are seeking answers for, be it bracing, casting, injections, medications, conservative therapy or surgery. I’m willing to work with you to find the best possible treatment that fits your lifestyle.
I have the privilege of assisting Dr. Van Horne with your knee or hip replacement surgery, helping you progress through your hospital stay and then following up with you in your post operative recovery afterwards.
